I've always found something deeply moving about the folklore of the selkie.

In Celtic mythology, selkies are magical beings who live as seals in the sea but can shed their skins to walk on land as human. In many versions of the story, a selkie's skin is stolen, forcing them to live a life that never truly belonged to them. Only when they reclaim their skin can they return to who they have always been.

I believe trans people deserve to live openly, safely, joyfully, and without apology. Trans rights are human rights, and everyone deserves the freedom to exist as their authentic self without fear or judgement.

Whether you're wearing this to celebrate your own journey, to support someone you love, or simply because you believe every person deserves dignity and respect, I hope it serves as a reminder that authenticity is something to be celebrated.
