Welcome to the Loralai Lake store - the home of wearable chaos, rebellious illustrations, and art with a little bit of bite.
I’m Nell, the independent artist behind Loralai Lake. I create bold, unapologetic artwork inspired by mythology, nature, social issues, and the wonderfully strange parts of being human. My work blends punk attitude with playful illustration - because art can be angry, funny, beautiful, weird, and still make a point.
Loralai Lake is all about creating wearable art for people who refuse to blend in. My designs explore identity, equality, climate issues, feminism, folklore, and the things that make us question the world around us. I believe art should start conversations, challenge ideas, and occasionally make people a little uncomfortable.
I’m passionate about inclusivity, LGBTQIA+ rights, and trans rights. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and able to exist exactly as they are and that belief runs through everything I create.
All of my print-on-demand apparel and wearable products are produced through Inkthreadable. I chose to work with them because their focus on ethical production and reducing environmental impact aligns with the values behind what I do. Creating responsibly matters to me, and print-on-demand allows me to make unique pieces without unnecessary overproduction and waste.
For other products, such as stickers and repeat-pattern printed items, I work with different suppliers depending on the product. I always take the time to research companies and choose suppliers with strong ethical policies, responsible practices, and values that align with my own.
At heart, Loralai Lake is about making art that feels alive - a little chaotic, a little rebellious, and completely unapologetic.
Wearable chaos for the wonderfully weird.
Stay loud. Stay kind. Stay strange.
